"Al-Aqsa Invasion: Israeli Settlement Surge & Old City Clampdown"

Palyouth "Hundreds of Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque today, Wednesday, from the Moroccan Gate, under the strict supervision of the Israeli occupation police.
The Israeli occupation police have intensified their military measures in the Old City, ahead of an Israeli settler march organized by the Israeli occupation municipality on the fifth day of the so-called 'Jewish Sukkot holiday,' which officially begins at 3:00 PM and is expected to be attended by tens of thousands.
Israeli occupation forces were deployed in the areas of the Asbat Gate and Hatta Gate in occupied Jerusalem, and dozens of Israeli settlers performed Talmudic rituals at the Qattanin Gate, one of the gates of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, coinciding with the presence of dozens of them in the area.
Large groups of Israeli settlers also roamed the narrow streets of the Old City of occupied Jerusalem and performed Talmudic rituals at the entrances to Al-Aqsa, specifically at the Chain and Qattanin Gates.
In conjunction with the 'Jewish Sukkot holiday,' the Israeli occupation authorities imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinians coming from Jerusalem and the 1948 territories, scrutinizing their identities and detaining some at the external gates.
The days of the ''Jewish Sukkot holiday' continue until the seventh of October this year, and the 'Temple Organizations' have intensified their calls during this period to increase the number of Israeli settlers invading the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The ''Jewish Sukkot holiday' is the third occasion within the Jewish holiday season this year, following the Jewish New Year and the 'Day of Atonement.'
The Israeli occupation exploits Jewish holidays to exacerbate the suffering of our people, coinciding with significant violations committed by the Israeli occupation forces, including the siege, tightening military measures at checkpoints, and obstructing the access of Palestinian citizens to holy places. Right-wing Jewish groups have called for intensified incursions into the mosque during these holidays."
